US To Reconsider Endangered Status For Wolverine

Law360 (June 11, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has agreed to reconsider its decision to deny wolverines protection under the Endangered Species Act, settling a suit brought by the Defenders of Wildlife and other conservation groups alleging that the agency ignored scientific evidence on threats to the U.S. wolverine population.
