Plaintiffs Lose Bid To Strike Cessna Defense Experts

Law360, New York (June 11, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has shot down a bid by plaintiffs to keep certain expert testimony from being heard at trial in the multidistrict product liability litigation alleging that Cessna improperly certified its 208B-series aircraft as satisfying Federal Aviation Administration safety standards.

Judge Kathryn Vratil of the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas on Tuesday rejected the plaintiffs' motion to exclude a group of common issue experts who have offered opinion testimony in rebuttal to testimony given by the plaintiffs' experts.
