Perry Ellis Urges Shareholders To Resist Randa’s Rival Bid

Law360 (July 5, 2018, 2:03 PM EDT) -- Perry Ellis is pressing shareholders to approve a $437 million deal that would see the retailer taken private by its owner, lambasting a competing proposal made by men’s accessories company Randa as woefully inadequate, according to a Thursday statement.

The special committee of the Perry Ellis International Inc. board of directors issued a statement reaffirming its belief that all Perry Ellis shareholders should vote for a deal announced in June, under which founder George Feldenkreis would take the company private for $27.50 per share.
