By Benjamin Horney (July 10, 2018, 5:32 PM EDT) -- Evonik Degussa GmbH is looking to sell its methacrylates plastics business as the German industrial conglomerate turns its attention to other sectors like feed additives and rubber silica for tires, according to a Tuesday report from Reuters. According to the report, the unit, which manufactures clear acrylic sheets, could be worth as much as €3 billion ($3.52 billion) in a sale. Interested parties are set to receive information about the business once this summer comes to an end, with initial bids due shortly thereafter, the report said. LG Chem, SK Holdings, Wanhua Chemical Group and LyondellBasell are among those that reportedly have interest, in addition to private equity firms like Advent International, Carlyle Group, Blackstone Group and Apollo Global Management....
