FTC Asks Court To Pause $2.4B Tronox-Cristal Deal

Law360 (July 10, 2018, 6:17 PM EDT) -- The Federal Trade Commission asked a D.C. federal court on Tuesday to stop Tronox Ltd. from completing its planned $2.4 billion purchase of Saudi-owned chemical mining company Cristal, as the sides await a ruling from an administrative law judge on the merger’s legality.
