11th Circ. Upholds Sanctions Against Crowell Partner

Law360 (June 15, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Crowell & Moring LLP securities litigation partner has lost a challenge to a bankruptcy court order imposing more than $370,000 in sanctions against him, with a federal appeals court ruling that the attorney's “overzealous litigation tactics” and “disrespectful behavior” in seeking a judge's recusal from a case were evidence of bad faith.
