Pfizer Ratchets Up Lyrica IP Suit Against Sun Pharma

Law360, New York (June 16, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Pfizer Inc. and Northwestern University have updated their infringement suit over Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.'s proposed generic version of the nerve pain treatment Lyrica, amending their complaint to add allegations that Sun has infringed a second patent.

Pfizer and Northwestern lodged an amended version of the complaint against Sun on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, where the suit had been pending since late April.
