Wyo. Enviro Atty Gets SF Rate For Case: 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (June 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge did not abuse her discretion when she awarded $35,945 in attorneys' fees to three lawyers — including one working out of Wyoming — who represented the Sierra Club in a clean air enforcement case brought in San Francisco against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, an appeals court has ruled.

The plaintiffs introduced sufficient evidence to demonstrate the fees they requested were reasonable in the forum of San Francisco, according to Monday's ruling in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit....
