Autodesk, SIIA Targeted In Software Copyright Spat

Law360, New York (June 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Agricultural equipment company Applied Electronics Corp. has filed a declaratory judgment suit against Autodesk Inc. and the Software & Information Industry Association, looking to stave off possible copyright infringement claims over Autodesk software and alleging that the defendants ran afoul of the Sherman Act.
