Teacher's Blog Not Protected Speech: 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (June 18, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Washington school district did not violate a teacher's constitutional rights when it demoted her after discovering that she kept a “vituperative” blog attacking her co-workers, the union and the school system, because the blog was not protected speech, a federal appeals court has affirmed.
