SEC Lands Pillsbury Veteran For Key Post

Law360, New York (September 25, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Christopher Cox has tapped a veteran securities litigator at Pillsbury Winthrop as deputy chief of staff at the federal agency.

Mike Halloran is currently the senior partner of the 250-attorney corporate and securities worldwide practice group at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP.

Currently based in California, Halloran will pack his bags to move to Washington, D.C. and will begin work at the Commission on Oct. 16.
