Group Sues BLM Over Drilling Leases At Monument

Law360, New York (June 19, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An environmental group has sued the Bureau of Land Management, contending that the agency improperly allowed numerous activities — including oil and gas development, off-road vehicle use, grazing, and the construction of airstrips — in a protected area of Montana known as the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument.
