Dismissal Of Baycol Failure-To-Warn Suit Upheld

Law360, New York (June 19, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania court has found that Bayer Corp. had no duty to inform the medical community about comparative rates of adverse event reports for Baycol, upholding a November 2004 jury verdict in favor of the drugmaker in product liability litigation over the cholesterol-lowering drug.
