DOJ Issues 2nd Requests To Fidelity, Metavante

Law360, New York (June 22, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice has asked financial data processing companies Fidelity National Information Services Inc. and Metavante Technologies Inc. for more details related to their proposed merger announced earlier this year, the companies revealed Monday.

The two firms said they had each received a so-called second request for possible antitrust concerns from authorities at the DOJ who are reviewing the deal, which was announced in April.
