Judge Enjoins Tenn. Insurer In Trade Secrets Row

Law360, New York (June 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has blocked a Tennessee-based insurance company from accessing policy documents and other records in a breach of contract, unfair competition and trade secrets case brought by American National Property and Casualty Co.

The preliminary injunction against defendant Campbell Insurance Inc., issued Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, blocks the insurer and its individual-agent defendants from accessing accounts, records, files, policies, rates and policyholder information, among other things.
