Neb. Beef Insurer Wants Damages Nixed In $6M Row

Law360, New York (June 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- While Factory Mutual Insurance Co. is seeking a court declaration absolving it from covering $6.4 million in losses suffered by Nebraska Beef Inc., the insurer has asked the court to strike the beef producer’s counterclaim for punitive damages relating to breach of contract allegations.
