Hemophiliacs Sue Anthem For Breach Of Contract

Law360, New York (September 26, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An Indiana health service provider which provides programs and services to hemophiliacs, has filed a suit against Anthem Insurance Inc., alleging Anthem attempted to unlawfully terminate its contract.

In a complaint filed in the United States District Court of the Southern District of Indiana, the eight employees of FHM Group accused Anthem of trying to cancel FHM’s insurance contract “based on shifting and contrived factual assertions.”
