High Court To Rule On Union Fees For Politics

Law360, New York (September 26, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Supreme Court said Tuesday it will rule on whether public employee unions should be required to gain permission before channeling workers’ dues toward political activity.

The justices plan to look into a Washington state appeal that deals with fees paid to the Washington Education Association by teachers who were not part of the union.
