BigLaw Firms May Have A Cyberattack Target On Their Backs

Law360 (September 12, 2018, 6:44 PM EDT) -- Large law firms are "target-rich environments" for cyberattacks, when compared with their corporate clients and small law firms, according to a Wednesday presentation by the American Bar Association, but there are resources available to help them fight back.

Big, global law firms often house sensitive information from hundreds or even thousands of different corporations, making them an attractive target, a one-stop-shop of sorts, for hackers, according to Sidley Austin LLP associate Michaelene E. Hanley.
