Part Of AMD’s Antitrust Suit Against Intel Thrown Out

Law360 (September 27, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a blow to Advanced Micro Devices Inc., a federal judge has dismissed a portion of AMD's antitrust suit against Intel Corp., ruling that some of the allegations fall outside the reach of U.S. law.

On Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Joseph Farnan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware granted Intel's bid to cut out the foreign commerce claims facing the microprocessor giant.
