US Marshals Seize Caraco Drugs In FDA Action

Law360, New York (June 25, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- U.S. Marshals on Thursday seized drugs at three Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories Ltd. plants in Michigan on behalf of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, which cited a May inspection showing that the generics manufacturer continues to violate the agency's good manufacturing practices.

The marshals took products and ingredients held at Caraco facilities in Detroit, Farmington Hills and Wixom, Mich.
