Tug-Of-War Over Expert In Viagra Litigation Continues

Law360, New York (June 26, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A battle over an expert witness in liability suit over Pfizer Inc.'s Viagra has heated up, with the filing of a flurry of motions to exclude or expand on the testimony of a researcher who authored what he says is the only study on possible links between Viagra and sudden-onset blindness.

Plaintiffs need to file a supplementary expert report from Gerald McGwin, they said in a motion filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, where the multidistrict litigation is being heard....
