EEOC Focuses On Disability, Harassment Cases At Year's End

Law360 (September 26, 2018, 9:33 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is closing out its fiscal year with a cascade of enforcement actions, including lawsuits accusing Dollar General Corp. of not adequately addressing sexual harassment by a store manager towards a subordinate, and alleging a Bath & Body Works LLC manager shamed a vision-impaired worker into quitting.

Just over the past week, the agency has filed at least two dozen lawsuits against businesses in a wide range of industries, according to court filings and announcements. The suits come ahead of the end of the agency's fiscal year on Sept. 30.
