ESA Shield Restored For Great Lakes Gray Wolf

Law360, New York (June 29, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. has restored Endangered Species Act protections for gray wolves in the western Great Lakes region, conceding in a deal with advocacy groups that government officials erred by not allowing the public to weigh in on a rule pulling gray wolves from the ESA list.
