GSK Sues Bentley In Spain Over Paxil Generic

Law360, New York (March 9, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- GlaxoSmithKline has sued Bentley Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Spain over a generic version of its Paxil antidepressant.

The suit, filed Jan. 10, also lists Smith Kline Beecham PLC and Smith Kline Beecham SA as plaintiffs, according to Bentley's annual report filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The case was brought against Bentley's Spanish subsidiaries in the 50th First Instance Court of the City of Madrid, the filing said.
