Tenet Bandages Wounds With Corporate Integrity Deal

Law360, New York (September 28, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Trying to make amends for allegedly bilking Medicare, Tenet Healthcare Corp. entered into a five-year corporate integrity agreement on Thursday to reform its practices with the federal government.

“We believe the requirements of this corporate integrity agreement are consistent with standards we already live by and principles we strongly believe in,” said Trevor Fetter, Tenet’s president and chief executive officer.
