Squire Sanders Follows Orrick's Lead On Lockstep

Law360, New York (July 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Taking a page from Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, Squire Sanders & Dempsey LLP has decided to abandon the lockstep compensation model. The form the new system will take, however, remains up in the air.

On Thursday, legal tabloid Above the Law reported that Squire Sanders had decided to abolish the lockstep system, publishing the confidential memorandum that had been circulated firm-wide.
