Hawaiian Telcom Denied More Time On Ch. 11 Plan

Law360, New York (July 6, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bankrupt Hawaiian Telcom Communications Inc. has been denied its bid for an extension of its exclusivity periods to file and solicit acceptances for a reorganization plan.

Judge Lloyd King of the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii on Wednesday denied Hawaiian Telcom's motion to extend its exclusivity deadlines from June 30 and Aug. 31 to Sept. 30 and Nov. 30.
