Airline Alliance Calls DOJ Antitrust Review Flawed

Law360, New York (July 7, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Star ATI Alliance's nine airline members has called on the U.S. Department of Transportation to approve Continental Airlines Inc.'s bid for immunized membership in its business partnership, arguing that the U.S. Department of Justice's claim that the deal was anti-competitive ignored the realities of the airline industry.
