4th Circ. Vacates Attorneys' Fees In Sprint IP Spat

Law360, New York (July 7, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has upheld the actual damages awarded to Quantum Systems Integrators Inc. in a copyright spat with Sprint Nextel Corp., but asked the lower court to reconsider its grant of $400,000 in attorneys' fees and other costs, which amounted to nearly six times the damages award.
