By Natalie Rodriguez (December 4, 2018, 5:24 PM EST) -- Just more a year ago, Lauren Salins was an antitrust litigation associate at McDermott Will & Emery LLP, following a largely traditional BigLaw track.
After graduating from Loyola Law School in 2013, she spent two and a half years at K&L Gates' antitrust division before jumping to McDermott. She was another year and a half into building her career there when she realized it wasn't the career she wanted.
"I enjoyed working in the firm and thought it was a great experience, but I was always drawn to the idea of working for a more innovative company," Salins said.
