7th Circ. Revives Wis. Automatic Bar Admission Spat

Law360, New York (July 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A twice-dismissed class action seeking to invalidate a Wisconsin statute allowing graduates of the two in-state law schools automatic bar admission received another reprieve from a federal appeals court Thursday.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit decided that the would-be Wisconsin lawyers deserved a chance to try to prove their case since the record did not contain any indication that the law schools at the University of Wisconsin and Marquette University focus much more on Wisconsin law than schools...
