Meridian Seeks Sixth Extension

Law360 (October 2, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Meridian Automotive Systems is asking the court overseeing its Chapter 11 proceedings to extend the bankrupt auto parts maker's exclusive periods for filing a reorganization plan and soliciting plan approval, the sixth such request that Meridian has made since it declared bankruptcy in April 2005.
