Target Named In New EEOC Race Discrimination Suit

Law360 (October 2, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is continuing to butt heads with Target Corp., filing yet another federal race discrimination lawsuit over the embattled retailer's alleged failure to promote a black worker.

The lawsuit, filed Sept. 29 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, hit Target just one month after a federal appeals court revived an earlier EEOC case filed against the company.
