Auto Parts Maker Contech Converts To Ch. 7

Law360, New York (July 14, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has granted a request from specialty auto parts maker Contech U.S. LLC to convert its bankruptcy proceedings from Chapter 11 to Chapter 7, and agreed to fast-track a request by the company to use a portion of its remaining cash to pay legal fees.

Judge Steven W. Rhodes of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on Monday allowed the case to be converted to Chapter 7.
