More Rambus IP Claims Rejected In DRAM Spat

Law360, New York (July 14, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office initially rejected eight claims in re-examination proceedings for two Rambus Inc. patents related to synchronous dynamic random access memory, Nvidia Corp. announced Tuesday.

The initial rejections came just a few weeks after the patent office initially rejected 41 claims in seven other patents that Rambus has asserted against Nvidia in a U.S. International Trade Commission case on certain types of memory controllers.
