The FDA's Approval Of Percocet And Vicodin

Law360, New York (July 16, 2009, 3:44 PM EDT) -- A federal advisory committee recently recommended that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration withdraw its approval of two popular painkillers, Percocet and Vicodin. Although the drugs are widely used and highly effective, the committee nevertheless recommended that they be withdrawn due to the risk of liver injury.
