Dosage Issue Spurs Recall Of Acetaminophen Drops

Law360, New York (July 14, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Brookstone Pharmaceuticals LLC has issued a nationwide recall of all lots of its concentrated acetaminophen drops, citing concerns of accidental overdoses due to dosage confusion and the absence of an integrated delivery device.

The Alpharetta, Ga.-based drugmaker issued the voluntary recall of all concentrated acetaminophen drops in 16-ounce bulk containers as a cautionary measure to minimize dosage confusion, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced Monday.
