Dunlop Hit With Another Marine Hose Antitrust Claim

Law360, New York (July 15, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Alleged marine hose cartel member Dunlop Oil & Marine Ltd. has been targeted with a new claim filed by Libya's second-largest oil producer, which contends that Dunlop inflated the purchase price for marine hose for well over a decade.

The claim, filed Monday in the U.K.'s High Court of Justice by Libya-based Waha Oil Co., seeks to recoup millions of euros in overpayments, said Brian Ratner of Hausfeld LLP, who represents Waha in the proceeding.
