Foley Hoag, Foley & Lardner Settle Trademark Lawsuit

Law360 (October 3, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The battle of the Foleys has come to an end, as Foley & Lardner LLP has agreed to stop referring to itself by the word Foley.

In the settlement with Foley Hoag LLP, Foley & Lardner agreed that it will not use a logo with just “Foley” so as not to cause confusion between the two brands, and will not refer to itself as Foley. However, the firm will keep its Web site, foley.com.
