Insurers Fight Inclusion Under CFPA Oversight

Law360, New York (July 16, 2009, 5:21 PM EDT) -- More than a dozen groups have sent a letter to finance leaders in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate, urging them to keep insurance out of the regulatory purview of the proposed Consumer Financial Protection Agency, which has been pitched as part of a legislative plan to overhaul financial market oversight.
