Brocade Merger Faces Regulatory Scrutiny

Law360 (October 3, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The federal antitrust authority has asked Brocade Communications Systems Inc. for additional documents regarding the company’s planned acquisition of its rival, it said on Tuesday.

Brocade said that it “intends to respond promptly to the request and will work closely with the Federal Trade Commission as it conducts its review.”

The company did not specify what information or documents the FTC is looking for.
