Microsoft Appeals €280.5 Fine To European Court

Law360, New York (October 3, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Microsoft Corp. has made good on its vow to appeal the landmark €280.5 million—$357 million—fine levied in July by European antitrust regulators against the software giant for failing to comply with technical disclosure requirements imposed as part of the European Commission’s 2004 decision that Microsoft had abused its dominant market position.
