Ex-Dechert Trade, EU Law Pro Joins Cohen & Gresser

By Suzanne Monyak (January 10, 2019, 10:07 AM EST) -- A high-profile trade attorney and former Dechert LLP partner will join Cohen & Gresser LLP as of counsel, the firm said, bringing decades of expertise in European Union regulation to the global law firm's international trade practice.

Miriam González Durántez will come aboard the firm's white collar defense group in its Washington, D.C., and London offices, the firm said Monday, where she will advise clients on international trade matters, including export controls and sanctions compliance and investigations as well as EU regulations, particularly on how companies may be affected by the United Kingdom's impending departure from the EU, or Brexit....
