Law360 (January 30, 2019, 1:55 PM EST) -- Stueve Siegel Hanson LLP secured the largest agricultural settlement in U.S. history last year, in which Syngenta paid $1.51 billion to corn producers and others harmed by sales of its genetically modified corn seed, earning the firm a spot among Law360's Food and Beverage Groups of the Year.
The Kansas City-based firm consists of 21 attorneys, with seven devoting the majority of their time to food and beverage matters. Co-founder Patrick Stueve attributes the firm's success to its attorneys and their close relationship with the companies they fight on behalf of.
