Law360 (January 29, 2019, 4:16 PM EST) -- A former Alston & Bird LLP associate and 10-year veteran of Humana Inc.’s legal department has been named the health insurance giant’s new general counsel, according to an announcement made by the company on Tuesday.
Joseph Ventura will serve as Humana’s general counsel, replacing retiring general counsel and Chief Legal Officer Christopher Todoroff, who has held the position for the past decade. The two will work together to transition the law department’s leadership over the next several months, during which Todoroff will serve as special counsel.
