StarTech, VPI Settle Patent Spat Over USB Switch

Law360, New York (July 21, 2009, 4:50 PM EDT) -- Computer and network device manufacturer Video Products Inc. has reached a settlement with USA LLP over allegations that StarTech infringed a patent related to a keyboard, video and mouse peripheral switch.

The two technology companies filed a joint motion for consent judgment Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, though the terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
