Arrowpoint Wants Others To Pitch In On Anco Defense

Law360, New York (July 21, 2009, 1:40 PM EDT) -- Arrowpoint Indemnity Co. has asked a federal judge to hold two fellow liability insurers accountable for defense costs related to thousands of asbestos exposure claims against Anco Insulations Inc.

In two motions filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, Arrowpoint, formerly known as Royal Indemnity Co., seeks partial summary judgment against National Union Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Transportation Insurance Co.
