Columbia Gas Bid To Nix Evidence Partly Granted

Law360, New York (July 21, 2009, 8:30 PM EDT) -- A U.S. judge has pared evidence related to a natural gas shipper's damages claims in a five-year legal battle that began as a putative antitrust class action against Columbia Gas Transmission Corp. and now is a state claim for breach of contract.

Judge Robert C. Chambers of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia on Tuesday granted in part and denied in part a motion to exclude AGF Inc.'s “speculative and baseless evidence of damages.”
