Asbestos Group Denied Relief In CAA Suit V. St. Louis

Law360, New York (July 22, 2009, 10:52 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has dismissed a citizens' suit alleging that the city of St. Louis exposed the public to asbestos contamination, ruling that the plaintiffs lack standing to sue because they can't prove the city was violating the Clean Air Act when they filed suit, or that CAA violations were imminent.
